Yesterday, I met an old coworker from CHOA at Dan Moo Ji in Duluth. I’ve never been to a Korean restaurant before and was really excited when Megan recommended it. I love trying new places and cuisines.
Most of the items had an English description with them. We never figured out what these items were, though.
We each ordered a meal and shared them family style. They brought out a Broth Soup, in individual measuring cups, as a starter.
And a sweet and spicy marinated radish. The spicy radish was amazing!! I’m Googling recipes to recreate them at home.
We ordered a Tuna Rice Roll. It tasted like sushi tuna salad. Weird but good.
Huck picked the Udon Noodles with Seafood and Veggies. I LOVE Udon noodles!!
Megan ordered Spicy Pork with Rice and a Salad.
And I ordered Steak, Veggies, and Rice. This was my favorite. I don’t know how to describe the flavor, but it was so good. Everyone else agreed this was their favorite, too.
The restaurant was really small but full of people. Every plate that went by looked so good. We already planned to make a trip back on our next visit!
Have you ever tried Korean Food?
Wednesday, we are going to our favorite Bosnian restaurant for lunch. I wonder if we have Bosnian and Korean restaurants at home? I’m going to have to do some research when we get back.
After our amazing lunch, we picked up the dogs and went to Gump’s. We sat around the fire until around 3AM. Being cold isn’t so bad when you have a fire to keep you warm!
One thing I miss in Florida!!
Today, we are having Christmas with my Family and my Mom’s Dad.
