Yep. I’m cut off. I’m sure you’re probably thinking I’m giving my poor liver a break. And you would be wrong. Actually, I get the most blog hits for my drinking related post, so I’ve been trying to come up with ways to drink more to increase my traffic. I’m completely joking by the way.
Nope, I’m cut off from the grocery store. My kitchen is full of food and I can’t justify buying anymore when the pantry is so over stocked. I’m avoiding the grocery store for 10 whole days! Really, we have enough food to avoid the grocery store for 2 weeks, but that seemed too long. I need fresh veggies!
I started my challenge with a recipe Huck’s sister made while we were home for Christmas. I’m not sure you can call this a recipe, though. It’s so EASY and makes so much food!
I used 1.5 pounds of chicken and we had enough food for over 6 meals.
This would be perfect for a taco bar at a party. One recipe could easily feed 6 people.
I didn’t make tacos this week, but I’ve used the chicken a few different ways.
Dinner is going to be fun tonight, too. We are helping Tequesta Brewing Co. with a charity event. Do you hangout at a bar to much when you they call and ask you to help at an event?
The food and beer pairing event is for Autism. I was told to bring my good camera, so I’ll be back tomorrow to share all the details.
Until then, I’m going to try to iron my dress for tonight. Wish me luck! It has pleats on the front, and I suck at ironing. Where is my Mommy and Grandmother, right now. They’re great at ironing.
