This is my first post on WordPress. Posting is a million times easier on WordPress. I’m not happy with everything else though. I can’t get any of the Widgets I am use to on my new blog. I have to get the upgrade, which is $99 a year. Right now, being unemployed, I’m just going to stick it out with this!

I’m a little behind on my post. I’ll go back to Sunday. A girl I worked with invited me and Huck to her family Easter Lunch. Her family is Italian and when she told me her mom made Aracini (Fried Rice Balls), I couldn’t wait!!

When we arrived at her parents house, there was a nice display of food in the kitchen. I remember thinking, man this is going to be good. After introducing ourselves, we were informed the food that was on the table was appetizers!

Appetizers!!

We sat around and talked for a while, and everyone made sure my glasses stayed full! Yes, I said glasses.

Wine, Blood Orange Mimosa, and Champagne. If I wouldn’t have ate so much food, I would have been drunk!

After eating lots of snacks, it was time for dinner.

For our first course, we had Ravioli with Homemade Tomato Sauce.

The main course was Ham, Green Beans, Stuffed Mushroom Casserole, Corn Casserole, and Sweet Potatoes and Potatoes.

At this point, I was really glad I wore a dress! I couldn’t even look at the massive amount of desserts available.

Right before we left, I did try a very small piece of the Bunny Carrot cake.

Everyone was so nice and made us feel at home. It is nice to be so far away from home, but still have people to spend the holidays with.

Jilda (My former coworker) is such a great person! She is the hardest working person I have ever worked with. I’m so glad she invited us!

Today, me and Huck attended a Flood Certification Class. 8 hours of trying not to be the person that was snoring in the meet! It wouldn’t have been so bad if I had cell service! We keep each other awake by playing tic-tac-toe, passing notes, and looking for people that were sleeping.

We went to lunch at Primanti Brothers. Huck has been craving pizza for days!

Their pizza was nice and crunchy and the salad was really good!

If anyone has any advise for a New WordPress-er please let me know. I am almost in tears over this whole blog! I told Huck I wasn’t going to do it anymore because it just doesn’t seem worth all the trouble. I am getting so stressed over a blog… a hobby!

But it will get better! Not giving up yet!
