It’s been a busy few days. Saturday, we went to visit some of my Grandparents, and had lunch with at my Great Uncles house for his 65th birthday.

If you leave my Great Aunt’s house hungry, it is your own fault. She is that Southern lady that lives to feed people!

They had smoked pork, chicken, and lots of sides. Huck was in heaven.

Everything was so good. We spent a few hours visiting with some of my extended family before leaving for Wild Wings.

Huck and I had friends and family meet us at Wild Wings to celebrate our 5th anniversary. It was nice spending time with everyone, in one place, on such a special day.

We took a few minutes to have a moment alone at the spot where we first met.

We ended up going out with some friends after Wild Wing. It made for a rough Sunday.

Sunday, I seen my other Grandparents and spent the rest of the day with Huck’s mom.

We didn’t get back to my parent’s house until midnight. I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.

Monday, I went to a Rope and Harness class. I seen snow flurries on my way to the class and my car said it was 35 degrees outside. Not the best day to climb on a roof.

Tonight, I cooked dinner. I used some leftover veggies for a Vegetable Beef Soup with Cornbread. I do not have a recipe to share. I just threw stuff in a pot.

We decided to stay in town until Friday. That gives us a few more days to spend with friends and family.
