The vet told us Ginny was overweight, and London is right there with him!
Ginny is a Husky Husky, London is a fat wiener, and my pants do not fit well. We decided while on our cruise, the whole family was going to get healthy.
We also have a few small races we want to sign up for in January, and I would like to complete them in a timely manner without dying!
Tonight, the whole family went for a run. Well, London only did a 5 minute warm up walk and 1 minute run. I don’t want to push him to much.
We ran for 1 minute and walked for 1.5 minutes and repeated for a total of 25 minutes. A slow pace, but you have to start somewhere, right?
I felt so good after! And I’m 100% sure I’ll feel even better when my pants fit again!!
Once we finished our run, we came home and made salads. I was going to cook fish, but our refrigerator is overflowing with veggies and a salad sounded easier.
I like to get all my veggies together and chop them into smaller pieces on my cutting board. It is so much easier to eat without the huge pieces of lettuce.
Now, I’m going to relax and read my new book, How to Brew or go to bed. I haven’t decided yet!
Tomorrow, I’ll have some yummy Thanksgiving Day treats to share! I have to call my Grandmother in the morning for one of the recipes, though. It is my favorite Thanksgiving Day food. She usually makes half a pan just for me!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving Food?
