Around 4PM Friday, one of our friends called and said he was going to the West Palm Beach Zombie Crawl. Huck and I decided that sounded like way more fun than working. He said they were meeting at 6, though! That didn’t leave much time to get ready, but we managed to throw some stuff together and arrived downtown at 630. I have never been on a real pub crawl, so I didn’t know what to expect. We registered and received a T-Shirt and our itinerary.
Game Plan for the Night
Bar Louie 5-630
Off the Hookah 630-730
Roxy’s Pub 730-830
Grease Burger Bar 830-930
Rocco’s Tacos 930-1030
Dr. Feelgoods 1030-1130
Monarchy Nightclub 1130-4AM WTF!!
Some people went all out with their costumes. I wish we would of had more time to get ready, but I thought we did pretty good.
I went for the pre-zombie look. I was not about to put white makeup on my face a week before my wedding. Huck decided to use RED FOOD COLORING for blood on his. It’s still there by the way. Nothing like having your husband look like a little kid with spaghetti on his face, in your wedding pictures.
I don’t need white makeup. I’m pale enough without it! I took an old white button up shirt in my closet, and decorated it with red food coloring. The same food color that is still on Huck’s face.
Tony scared the hell out of me, but he made a great dead Castro. He won the costume contest, too!! We only had to stay until 230 for it! 8 hours of pub crawling, he better have won! (Wait until you see my next blog post from last night. He looks COMPLETELY different)
The guy in the middle was our leader. He did a phenomenal job keeping everyone together, letting us know when it was time to move, and keeping us entertained.
At some point, someone decided we should do Sake Bombs. Everything was going great until Greg knocked his shot off and caught my arm on fire! All I seen was the flame surround my arm and go out. I don’t like hair on my arms anyways
Huck also got some action shots of me dancing during the night, too. Apparently, when I’m drinking, I have to look at my feet. There were more pictures, but I figured I would spare you the misery.
All and all the Pub Crawl was awesome. I look forward to going next year.
I’ll be back tomorrow with Part 2 of our Halloween Weekend. It will be a blast from the past!
